About this VW40 airbag ECU file service

GrauTech Cleaner is an independent online file service for the VW40 airbag ECU. What the service covers

The platform processes supported VW40 airbag ECU (SRS control module) files based on the Infineon Tricore TC233-32F processor family. It covers vehicles from Volkswagen, Škoda, Audi, SEAT and Cupra across the MQB and MEB platforms, and supports part numbers from the 1EA 959 655, 5WA 959 655 and 1ED 959 655 families. Compatibility always depends on the exact control unit, its software version and the uploaded file.

How it works

A registered workshop reads the supported dump from the unit, uploads it to a secure account, and the file is processed online. The order, its status and the finished file stay in the account history so the workshop always has a record. One standard file costs €22 with no subscription — credits are bought only when they are needed and they never expire.
